This weekend i happened to watch latest release "Rocket Singh-Salesman of the year" and i must admit the movie carried the finest message in this high-pitched sales economy era we are living in.What was impressive was that audience believed in what the adorable Sardar ought to achieve. His means and end were both believable. What companies indulging in cut-throat competition ought to understand is that more than their impressive marketing, consumer wants a product which is more affordable and carries better service. The consumer is willing to experiment beyond established brands and give a chance to those who can guarantee him better peace of mind.I myself recall that around a decade back, when credit card were freshly launched, executive from some renowned bank would sell his credit card promising the moon to us and when we experienced problems in first cycle itself,he was nowhere to be seen.No calls were answered back and if luckily you managed to bounce into him,he would say that opt for a new card as he was now with a new bank. And this cycle would go on. I dont think salesmen are to be blamed much as they have to produce results to survive in this profession but it is for the top management of companies to read the message "loud and clear".A must-see movie for all concerned.
