America was earlier known as the land of oppurtunities and India it seems is replacing it fast.Otherwise,how can one explain the transformation of a labourer to owner of empire of Rs 4,000 crores and still counting.Now that will take some beating!
Yes,i am talking about 38-year old Madhu Koda who had worked as a labourer,won elections to Jharkhand student union,later won as an independant MLA and by twist of fate or as a result of political manipulations,ended up being CM of Jharkhand at the age of 35 as a representative of UPA and supported by Congress.When and how along the way,he established this evil empire of thousands of crores with the help of money laundering,illegal mining contracts in naturally rich state of Jharkhand and other devious ways,is the moot question.
One thing is clear,all his wrongdoings in such a short span of time,could not have escaped the eyes of IT people and other responsible authorities and that the government of the day finally decided to carry out action against him seems to be more of a political message to other such people to not to mess up with government of the day than being a case of law catching up with him.I wonder what the poor tribals of Jharkhand would be thinking of this billionaire among them.Hopefully he is the last of his creed!Otherwise,only God can save India from its politicos.
