We pride ourselves in calling ourself a democratic country where rights of a common citizen are guaranteed by the state under the constitution but a bunch of hooligans calling themselves a political party,hold a world city to ransom,issuing threats to all and sundry,sparing no one,not even the biggest filmstar of all times,vandalising movie of biggest star of modern times,ridiculing the top most business tycoon of the country and now calling names,the members of Gandhi family.They are attacking their own patrons too -the BJP and the RSS.Is one not reminded of Bhindrawale,first a creation and then destroyer of Indira Gandhi,or Osama Bin Laden,a creation of America and then destroyer of WTC,symbol of American capital strength,or the next door example of Taliban, a creation of Pakistan and now burning the pyre of state of Pakistan. All these individuals or states created a frankenstein monster,encouraging and using them for their own sinful,strategic ends and then ended up being engulfed by them.Same game has been played in Bombay or Mumbai,which started with renamimg of city.Congress used and did,nt stop Raj Thackeray from spreading hatred for narrow political gains and now end up being in a catch-22 situation where their own high leaders have ended up being ridiculed by the clan.If and only if,they had doused the fire, in first place.Now the tiger is out of the cage and only God knows how many poor,innocent lives will be lost in crossfire.
